Visiting a new church can feel a little intimidating, but we want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Here's everything you need to know before your first Sunday at First Church.
Our doors open at 10:00 AM, and our Sunday service begins at 10:30 AM.
Come a little early, get settled, meet a few friendly faces, and make yourself at home!
You'll find our church entrance through the double glass doors at the far south end of the building, on the Stephenson Street side.
Once you're inside, our friendly church family will be happy to help you find your way.
Children are welcome to stay with their parents throughout the service. We also offer Kids Church for children ages 3 through 4th grade.
After our mid-service greeting time, children are invited to join their teachers for a fun, age-appropriate Bible lesson and creative craft in our cafeteria.
Parents can walk their children to the cafeteria or allow them to go with our teachers. At the end of the service, parents pick up their children from the cafeteria.
Your child's safety matters to us. Our children's ministry teachers undergo background checks, and our building has security cameras to help provide a safe and accountable environment.
You'll see everything from suits and dresses to t-shirts and cargo shorts. You'll usually find our pastor wearing jeans and a button-up shirt.
We're much more interested in getting to know you than what you're wearing.
Absolutely! Feel free to bring in your Starbucks or a water bottle into the service.
Our services are about 1 hr 15 minutes long, but may be a little longer or shorter depending on the week. 10:30-11:45am
Whether you're planning your first visit, have questions about our children's ministry, or just want to know a little more about First Church, we're here to help.
