Karen Stauffer
Mrs. Stauffer has been with Open Bible since 2001.
In addition to teaching Kindergarten, she is also involved in the Open Bible Summer Fun program for the 5-6 yr. old group.
Mrs. Stauffer graduated from Rockford College in 2001 with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. She enjoys the chance to work with children throughout the year and watch them develop and grow both academically and as individuals. She is also grateful to work in an atmosphere where she is able to teach her students about God.
She and her husband Bill live in Freeport with Zoe, their basset hound. They attend Laurel Street Community church where Mrs. Stauffer assists with children’s ministry and occasionally fills in for the praise time.
Karen’s hobbies include baking, scrap booking and card making, tractor
pulls (especially when Bill competes) and traveling. She also enjoys
spending time with friends and family.
