1944 First services at Freeport Gospel Tabernacle
   
1949 Officially chartered with Open Bible Churches
   
1950 New facilities constructed on West Chestnut
   
1968 Church outgrew facilities, and land purchased at the current location on West Stephenson.
   
1968-9 Met at YMCA while new facility constructed.
   
1969 Easter Sunday - Worshipped in new facility.
   
1970 Day Nursery is opened to serve the public.
   
1975 Educational Center is added on to existing structure.
   
1982 Sanctuary remodeled to add an extra 200 seats.
   
2000-1 Open Bible Learning Center constructed.
   
Today Our campus encompasses 45,000 sq ft, and is of service to the Freeport and surrounding area.
